Timothy Stocker is a master’s student in the Virginia Tech Department of Computer Science and a molecular virology research technician in the Virginia Tech Department of Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology. His research interests lie at the intersection of molecular biology, systems biology, and machine learning. Timothy’s current work includes the identification of host-viral protein-protein interactions in hemorrhagic fever virus infection, the development of organoid models of Rift Valley fever virus infection, and the development of machine learning models to make drug repurposing predictions for viral diseases.
