Samantha Grimes is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Adam Lauring’s laboratory at the University of Michigan. Samantha completed her PhD in Mark Denison’s lab at Vanderbilt University, where she studied the role of the coronavirus helicase and exoribonuclease in virus replication and fitness. Samantha’s project focuses on the evolvability of influenza polymerase and its role in emergence. Outside of lab, Samantha enjoys reading, baking, and hiking.”
