Nikhitha Khasnavis, a rising junior at Virginia Tech majoring in Computer Science with a strong interest in machine learning and its practical application to solving real world global challenges! I am extremely excited to join the NSF COMPASS Center as a research intern, contributing to predictive intelligence for pandemic prevention. I aim to deepen my understanding of applied machine learning, gain hands-on experience with large scale data, and explore how computational tools can drive real world impact in public health and beyond!
