The COMPASS Center held its inaugural annual meeting on July 31–August 1, 2025, at Virginia Tech’s Academic Building One in Alexandria, Virginia, with more than 50 participants in attendance. Researchers, communicators, and board members from across the country convened to review progress from Year 1 and align on priorities for Year 2.
Over two days of presentations, workshops, and structured discussions, participants shared research updates, strengthened cross-thrust collaboration, and identified opportunities for integration across Center activities. The meeting reinforced connections among team members and advanced the Center’s commitment to coordinated, interdisciplinary research.
